Paul Barnes, founding Producing Director of Winona’s Great River Shakespeare Festival, brings the solo stage adaptation of his memoir, Paul for Pete: Politics. Theatre. Life. One Man’s Adventures (or, How I Became a Septuagenarian Fanboy) to the Winona Arts Center for one performance only, 6:30 PM Wednesday, July 17th. Detailing his journey from despair to hope during the 2020 elections, Paul for Pete chronicles Barnes’s directing travels across America, his development from political novice to successful campaign fundraiser, and a life-altering personal event that changed the course of his adventures.
