UPCOMING AUDITIONS!
The new Theatre du Mississippi season is about to begin and we’re kicking it off with a new play called Endwaters, by Scott Dixon. Scott may be familiar to many of you as a resident actor/director/playwright at the Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro, and we’re thrilled that he wrote this new play specifically for TdM!
Endwaters is set in Winona, just a few years in our future, with the very Mississippi River (a key component of the community’s identity) in trouble. It’s an exciting work, and sure to get people talking.
There are approximately nine roles available with a wide range of ages – from 18-80.
Auditions will be held at the Masonic Temple (255 Main Street, Winona, MN) on Thursday, August 27 and Friday, August 28 from 7-9pm. No need to come with a prepared piece (but you may if you wish) — we’ll have portions of the script available at the auditions.
For anyone interested in getting a glance at the script, we are posting a draft of the first act here:

We look forward to seeing you there!
